I have a big ps2 and a slimline ps2 i go on the slim about 3-4 hours a day it gets hot but dosent overheat

can you play the slim PS2 for a lot of hours?i heard the slim version doesnt have the fan inside and that you could only play it for 2 hours everyday or else it would overheat.please reply
